“Caroline is a motivating facilitator whose main aim is to draw out the skills and experiences of participants to ensure the training sessions are participative. I would have no hesitation in attending any future events she is likely to hold.”

Train the trainer – MHFA

Phoenix Philosophy is a founding member of MHFA England (Community Interest Company). The National Training Team for MHFA England (CIC) is the only body in England licensed to train trainers / instructors to deliver MHFA courses for individuals wishing to understand how to recognise and manage mental ill health. As an Independent Consultant, I regularly train trainers / instructors to deliver MHFA courses to individuals.

I also train trainers to deliver equalities courses on behalf of the Mental Health Equalities Programme, which is part of the National Mental Health Development Unit. I’m a passionate believer in promoting mental health as an equalities issue.

I have a strong interest in coaching people in the art of teaching because I feel it’s so important that we build teams of people equipped to teach our society to recognise and manage this serious public health issue. I work by mentoring my trainees and providing constructive feedback throughout the process.

If you’re interested in becoming a trainer, you can find out more on the MHFA England website.
